Connect your own AI agent

If you already use an AI agent such as Claude, you can connect it to AiWebGen. It can then build and change your websites the way the editor does, through MCP (the standard way AI agents connect to other apps).

  • It works on every plan, at no extra cost from us. Your agent's own provider bills you for its use.

  • It doesn't use the built-in Assistant's monthly allowance.

  • It signs in as you, and can only reach your own websites.

Connect it

Every agent connects to the same address:

https://mcp.aiwebinfra.com/mcp

Your agent opens AiWebGen's sign-in page the first time; sign in with the same account you use in the editor. Step-by-step instructions for Claude Code, for Claude on the web, desktop and phone, and for other apps are on Connect your AI.

Working with it from the editor

  • For an agent, on the small bar that appears when you click something, copies a short note your agent understands, naming exactly that thing (and any words you selected in it). Paste it into your agent with what you want done.

  • More › What your agent sees… shows a picture of this page's latest draft: the same picture your agent gets when it looks.

  • When your agent changes the page you have open, the top bar says so and offers Reload.

  • More › Site settings › Activity lists every change saved to this site, and whether you or an AI made it.

Good to know

  • Same checks as the editor. Your agent's changes go through the same checks as yours, and you can undo them from Versions.

  • It only publishes when you ask it to. Otherwise its changes stay as drafts.

  • Your agent's app can ask you first. AiWebGen marks every step that deletes, publishes, sends mail, moves money or hands out member data, so your agent's app can ask you before each one. Words other people wrote, such as a visitor's form message or an imported page, reach your agent marked as their words, not yours.
