Put your site on the web

Your changes save as you go, but visitors only see them after you publish.

Steps

Press Phone at the top of the editor to check the page looks right on a small screen. (Desktop takes you back.)
Press Publish site in the top bar.
Wait a few seconds for the line under the top bar to say “Your site is live”.
Press View your live site on that line to see it the way visitors do.
Want only the page you’re on to go live? Press the small arrow beside Publish site, then Publish this page.
If it says some pages are held back for review (pages you ticked to keep off the web while they are checked), press Release & publish to put them live too.

Or ask the Assistant: “Check my home page on a phone and tell me if anything looks wrong before I publish.”

Tip: If Publish asks “Publish the new search settings?”, press “Publish with the new settings” only if you changed your Google settings yourself; otherwise press “Publish, keep the live settings”.
